About me
I’m Sam Jennings, a junior at the University of Oregon, majoring in Public Relations. I’m passionate about filming and am working toward a career in videography and social media.
I’m especially interested in sports videography and independent social media videography, and I plan to continue filming and creating video content throughout my time in school.
Filming Sports
I’ve had a deep connection to sports since I was a child. I grew up playing and watching sports from the age of five, and that lifelong passion naturally evolved into a love for filming them. Sports videography pushes my creativity in ways nothing else does; it allows me to capture the emotion and energy, through the lens no matter the sport.
General Videography
General videography brings out the best in me. Being behind the camera allows me to capture the world as I see it, translated through the lens. I find the most joy in creating videos that make the people I film feel seen and happy.
To me, videography is about blending creativity with joy. If my work can do both, then I know I’m doing my part as a filmmaker.
